Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 Tuition Rates

Undergraduate Courses
(Numbered 200-799)

1-11 credits:
$366 per credit, NH residents
$403 per credit, nonresidents

12 credits: (with permission only)
$6,030, NH residents
$12,690, nonresidents

over 12 credits: (with permission only)
full tuition and fees

Individuals with an existing undergraduate degree who wish to enroll in UNH courses through Continuing Education are considered graduate non-degree students. If a graduate non-degree student is enrolled in undergraduate courses only during the fall or spring semester, they may enroll in up to 11 credits without special permission, are charged undergraduate non-degree tuition rates and are not subject to graduate mandatory fees.

Graduate Courses
(Numbered 800-999)

1-8 credits:
$426 per credit, NH residents
$469 per credit, nonresidents

9 or more credits: (with permission only)
full tuition and fees

Audit (Undergraduate or Graduate)
$100 per credit (Special rules apply)

Graduate non-degree students who enroll in a combination of graduate and undergraduate courses during the fall or spring semester are charged non-degree graduate tuition rates for all courses. Graduate non-degree students who enroll in both graduate and undergraduate courses must receive special permission to enroll in 9 or more credits and must pay full-time graduate tuition and mandatory fees.



Change of Degree Status Tuition Rule
Any degree candidate who withdraws from the University and subsequently enrolls as a special non-degree student during the current semester or the next academic year will continue to be billed for tuition and fees on the same basis as degree candidates of appropriate resident and non-resident undergraduate and graduate status.
