certificate programs 
Certificate programs provide non-matriculated students with a concentrated learning experience in a specific subject area. Credit-bearing certificate programs are available at the graduate level in Durham and at the undergraduate level in Manchester. In addition, noncredit certificate programs are available in Durham, Manchester and Portsmouth through Professional Development and Training, an affiliated office of the Graduate School.
